1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Linely mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Linely is an independent transit navigation companion designed to help commuters explore public transit schedules, arrival countdowns, platform transfers, and rail trip planning across the Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley metropolitan areas.

3. Independent Status & Non-Affiliation

Important Disclaimer: Linely is an independent application developed by independent software contributors. Linely is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd, Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp), or Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB).

All transit brand names, line designations, and trademarks (including RapidKL, LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT Sunway, and KTM Komuter) are the intellectual property of their respective owners and are referenced solely for identification and informational purposes.

4. Transit Data Accuracy & Schedule Variations

Transit schedules, headways, station hours, and arrival estimations provided within Linely are derived from public General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) open data feeds published by transit operators and OpenDOSM.

While we make every reasonable effort to keep data up to date:

  • Real-world train and bus operations are subject to unscheduled delays, weather conditions, maintenance shutdowns, track signaling issues, and operational changes.
  • Linely does not guarantee that arrival countdowns or routing travel times will always be exact or error-free.
  • Commuters are advised to always heed physical station signage, platform departure displays, and official operator announcements.

5. ETS Schedule Tracker (Beta)

Features related to KTM Electric Train Service (ETS) tracking are provided under a public beta tag ("Beta"). ETS schedules and stop listings are estimates based on published timetables and should be verified against official KTMB ticketing platforms prior to boarding.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Linely solely for lawful transit navigation purposes. You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application without express written authorization.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on our servers, APIs, or network infrastructure.
  • Use automated scraping tools or bots to extract proprietary routing assets or curated station metadata.

7. Intellectual Property

The Linely application design, interface components, logo, graphics, custom Dijkstra routing implementations, and documentation are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. In no event shall Linely or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including missed transit connections, appointments, or travel delays resulting from reliance on the Service.

9. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide reasonable notice on our website or through an in-app notice prior to new terms taking effect.
